Marius Aurenti is committed to reducing the overall impact of its activities on the environment, right from the extraction of raw materials:
 •  creating additives that reduce the thickness of materials (up to 15 times thinner): reducing transport and greenhouse gas emissions.

•  not removing old surfaces: limiting waste

 •  favouring liquid products: reducing emissions of solvents into the atmosphere

 •  implementing directive C.O.V. 2007-2010 for paints and developing mineral paints

Responsible research and development

Twenty-five years in the trade have taught us that technical innovation and respect for the environment are entirely compatible.

In 2009, we made a commitment to innovation and sustainable development:

- Creating an R&D Department, entrusted with improving the technical and environmental performances of our materials. Technical certification tests.
- Examining the construction of an HQE (High Environmental Quality) certified production plant for our waxed concretes, coatings and paints
- A partnership with Planete Urgence on a reforestation and development programme in the Mopti region (10,000 trees and 10 families involved)
