Training
of level 1

With level 1 training, you can choose to follow one of the following courses:

• Waxed concrete: using smooth finish mortar.

• Coatings: waxed plaster, cement, acrylic, silicate coating for stucco.

• Lime coatings: whitewash, stucco, marmorino, sgraffito.

• The harmony of decorative colours: the organisation of colours and their combinations in terms of décor.

These courses generally take place on one day (with the exception of tailor-made training).

For who?

Level 1 training is designed for all users, both amateur and professional. The aim of these introductory courses is to allow participants to acquire the application techniques for our materials and to progress at their own pace in accordance with their needs and wishes.

Level 2 training (training leading to a qualification) addresses the following subjects: smooth finish mortar, interior self-levelling mortar, epoxy resins and decorative coatings; these courses take place over three days.
For who?
 
Level 2 training is designed for decoration professionals who, depending on their situation:

• have already completed level 1 training and are users of Ma’s materials,

• can be accepted directly following training with other organisations (stucco, marmorino, tadelakt) or who can provide proof of several years practical experience.

On completion of level 2 training, and after several months’ probation, professionals are awarded the status of “qualified Ma’s craftsman”.
 
Prefectoral approval of our organisation allows professionals to be reimbursed their training costs as part of their professional training.

Where?
This level 2 course takes place at the training centre in La Ciotat, near Marseille.
