Hôtel Belleval
An indoor garden in Paris’s 8th arrondissement. Mineral flooring connects the living spaces designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel.

The architecture
On rue de la Pépinière, Jean-Philippe Nuel’s studio conceived Le Belleval as a place connected to its neighbourhood. The bar, restaurant and lounges form a sequence of settings inspired by plants and gardens.
Patterns, coloured seating and timber stand out against a pale floor. This calm base gives clarity to an interior rich in detail.
Materials in the project
Marius Aurenti microcement accompanies circulation routes and shared spaces within the hotel. The floor’s visual continuity allows the eye to move between furniture, daylight and adjoining rooms.
