Mains Côté Sud – August/Sept. 2019

Celebrating authenticity

The Vivre côté sud trade show has become accustomed to great encounters and memorable surprises. Even if the aim was not to outdo each other, this session followed in the creative footsteps of the 20th anniversary edition. The theme “A l’état brut” clearly united exhibitors, visitors and the entire Côté sud community.

Here’s a look back at the images, favorites and highlights. The Côté Sud scenography on the theme “À l’état brut”, created by stylist Aurélie des Robert. Wooden structure, LPasse Design, esparto-fiber screens, Rock the Kasbah by Philippe Xerri. On the wall, natural matuba bark fiber, Adèle Collections. Origine végétale” paintwork and waxed concrete floor, Marius Aurenti. Painted recycled metal cactus, Watering can & Parsley, traditional Zimbabwean basket hand-woven from herbs, Couleur Locale. 2. The sky over Parc Jourdan. 3. Wooden sculptures and objects by Christian Caulas. 4. Designed as a bubble of freshness, the installation with the swing crossing a wall of water caused a sensation, Alinea.
