“Origine Végétale” (plant origin) is the registered trademark of a range of paints rich in renewable and sourced raw materials. This is the latest addition to the Marius Aurenti paint range.
Natural and environmentally friendly, it contributes to healthier living and air quality.
Made from vegetable oils and mineral fillers, it contains no solvents or chemical additives, and emits no VOCs.
Matt and Velvet matt lacquers are designed for interior wall decoration, while satin lacquers are suitable for interior and exterior walls.
It is easy to apply to substrates such as plasterboard, concrete, old paint or wood.
Available in matte, velvet matte and satin finishes, this lacquer paint is suitable for walls and ceilings.
Microporous and washable, lacquer is easy to maintain.

Origine végétale Printing and paint matte
Origine végétale matte primer and paint is suitable for undercoating and decorating interior walls.
With its highly matte finish, it provides excellent opacity and regulates the porosity of the substrate.

Plant-based matte printing and painting

PROPERTIES
Rich in renewable raw materials, it contributes to greener living and healthier air quality. It contains no solvents or co-solvents. It is microporous and washable. Easy to apply, it has excellent opacifying and filling properties. It perfectly regulates the porosity of substrates.

Aqueous dispersion based on vegetable oil and mineral fillers.

AREAS OF USE
Matt plant-based primer/paint is designed for priming substrates and decorating interior walls, with a matt finish.
Implementation
SUBSTRATE AND SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Suitable substrates: Plasterboard, concrete, old paintwork
On new surfaces, lightly roughen and remove dust before application.
On new concrete or cement, wait 45 days until PH is below 9.
On previously painted surfaces, wash if necessary, rinse and allow to dry. Then sand before application.
Comply with DTU 59.1 rules
APPLICATION EQUIPMENT
Synthetic polyamide brush
Microfibre roller (6 mm: taut look or 10 mm: poached look)
Spray gun: dilute with 8-10% water and 5-8% water using an airless spray gun (0.43 mm or 0.38 mm nozzles).
CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION
TEMPERATURE: >10°C and <35°C (ideal temperature: >15°C and <20°C)
RELATIVE HUMIDITY: <65% (dry weather)
Before application, check substrate humidity (maximum 4%).
APPLICATION METHOD
Stir well before use.
Apply one coat of white Plant Primer followed by two coats of white or tinted matte plant paint. The white plant primer is also applied before the matte, velvet matte and satin plant lacquers.
CONSUMPTION
50 microns per coat – 8 to 10 m² per liter
DRYING TIME AT 20°C AND 60% RELATIVE HUMIDITY
DRY TO TOUCH: 1 hour
BETWEEN COATS: 6 hours
FULL DRYING: 3 days but mechanical strength reached after 10 days
TOOL CLEANING
Equipment should be cleaned with water after use.
