Pitaya Liège
A dark mineral floor balancing daylight, timber furniture and the interior structure.

The architecture
At the Pitaya restaurant in Liège, tables, circulation routes and changes in level establish the rhythm of the space. Light from the street creates strong contrasts across the surfaces.
Materials in the project
Marius Aurenti mineral flooring provides a dark, continuous base to the composition. Its tonal variations respond to timber furniture and black elements within the interior.
The project illustrates the role of flooring in a restaurant: shaping the perception of the setting, supporting circulation and connecting different uses.
