In Lisbon, a recently renovated house embodies the subtle marriage of materials. At the heart of this project, microcement by Marius Aurenti plays an essential role, providing a warm, contemporary purity while respecting the harmony of the space. This project perfectly illustrates how this material can be adapted to the aesthetic and functional requirements of living spaces.
Marius Aurenti’s microcement, known for its versatility and durability, has a natural place in this Lisbon home, sublimating the clean lines of the architecture while offering a singular texture. The choice of this material reflects a desire to combine sobriety and refinement, without sacrificing the robustness required for everyday use.
A precious collaboration with Saudade Design
The renovation of this house was carried out in collaboration with Saudade Design. The complementary nature of the textile and mineral materials was carefully considered with Nathalie Cellier. The microcement was used not only for its aesthetic qualities, but also for its ability to blend in with the bright, uncluttered architecture of the site. The project showcases traditional craftsmanship combined with the modern needs of sustainable living.
Light and Micro Concrete: A Subtle Alliance
This house on the outskirts of Lisbon was renovated by Nathalie Cellier of Songe lab, who took full advantage of the qualities of microcement to create the desired ambience. microcement was chosen for the floors, contributing to a harmonious atmosphere in which natural light plays a key role. Thanks to its smooth appearance and multiple finishing options, it accentuates the space while maintaining a minimalist style.
A Practical and Aesthetic Material
In addition to its visual appeal, microcement is renowned for its durability and ease of maintenance. Marius Aurenti, creator of microcement millimetric, has been creating floors, bathrooms and terraces for over 25 years.
